A Healthy Fridge and Freezer

The Good News?


These are foods I like to keep on hand in my fridge and freezer so I can make healthy whole-foods meals without a trip to the store!

Freezer
boneless/skinless chicken
fish filets
lean cuts of pork and beef
blueberries
mangos
strawberries
spinach
broccoli
edemame
peas

Fridge
firm tofu
free range, vegetarian fed eggs
plain greek yogurt
string cheese
cheddar cheese
high quality milk
soy milk
A pitcher of iced tea or lemon water
a variety of mustards- spicy, dijon, plain and honey-mustard
a variety of whole-food salad dressings
salad greens, fresh herbs and vegetables in season
Earth Balance buttery spread
I also keep my nuts and seeds in the fridge to keep their oils fresh
